A therapist, or psychotherapist, is a licensed mental health professional who helps clients improve their lives, develop better cognitive and emotional skills, and cope with various challenges. Here at Satya Wellness, we offer individual therapy, life coaching, and group therapy.
Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Group therapy is a structured process in which a small group of individuals, typically six to ten people, meets with a trained therapist to explore and work through shared concerns, such as stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, or anxiety.
With guidance from the group therapist, members are encouraged to share their experiences, thoughts, and emotions, while also listening to and learning from others. Participants gain new perspectives, practice healthy coping strategies, and receive support from individuals facing similar challenges.
Group therapy offers a safe and supportive environment where individuals can connect with others, reduce feelings of isolation, and build insight and skills that support healing and personal growth.
Online Counseling
A life coach encourages and counsels clients on a range of professional and personal issues. Life coaching is distinct from giving advice, consulting, counseling, mentoring, and administering therapy. You would hire a coach to help you with specific professional projects, personal goals, and transitions. A coach helps you grow by analyzing your current situation, identifying limiting beliefs and other potential challenges and obstacles you face, and devising a custom plan of action designed to help you achieve specific outcomes in your life.
